The end for the " Traditional bedsit " in Ireland

New Irish law kills bedsit option for all tenants .
" As from February 1st , the traditional bedsit is no longer permitted under Irish Law. This change did not come about overnight and was long overdue. Under regulations introduced in 2009 , landlords were given four years advance notice to make the required improvements to their properties.
New standards for rental accommodation which come in to effect on 1st February will mean that all rental accommodation must have its own sanitary facilities ( e.g. toilet and shower ), food preparation facilities and independently controlled heating. "

  " City wide news " ( edition 11th March to 25th March 2013 )

This means that there will no more be cheap accommodation in Ireland ...

Still planning to move to the Ireland ?
